    Beolink 5000 original packagin

    Hi all

I would like to buy a Beolink 5000 to complete my small B&O collection and I have a good offer for one with the original packaging!:-) Now I am wondering if it is possible that the packaging of the Beolink 5000 was the same in the mid 1990's as it is the packaging of the Beo4 today!!? Has anybody an idea how they packed these remotes back then?

    Regards, Noah

PS: What price would you pay for a like new remote of type BL5000?

Hi Noah, Beolink 5000's were still available new up unti a few years ago. They may still be available. You may find a dealer can still order you the original packaging if required as a spare part.

    Hi Craig

I did not know that they may still be available brand new! Good to hear.;-)

But do you think a BL5000 bought back in 1995 would have this packaging. Sorry, I am just wondering. I know it is not that important!:-)

    Regards, Noah.

    Hi,

I have a Beolink 5000 from 1994 and still have the original box and packaging.

I also have a Beo4 with its own packaging.

I can confirm that the boxes are different - they are of a different design and colour. The opening method of the two are different - the Beo4 box having a 'sliding' type of method, the 5000 box having the more conventional style of box-end opening. They are both of the same overall size though.

    Regards

    Okay. Thank you all guys!

I think the seller just put the Beolink5000 into a packaging of a Beo4.:-)
