    Beosound 2000: Problem, Please Help?

    Hello Guys,

This is my first time posting, my name is Rob and I own a Beosound 2000.

About a month ago my Beosound started acting up, after listening to the radio, cd... for about 30min it would stop or scramble through channels by itself and after 30-45 seconds or so the sliding glass door opens, then just stays put.  I have to turn it off to get the door to shut.  I am lost without my Beosound!  It has never been dropped or damaged and I do not even move it around, it gets presidential treatment.

Please help? Is there a way to reset?

    Thanks for your time,

    -Rob

Hi Rob & welcome to BeoworldSmile.

I don't think there is a reset for this - genreally unplugging a B&O system for 10 minutes resets the whole system. In Europe the Beosond 2000 is known as the Beosound Centuary. I haven't come across this problem myself having never owned one, but maybe other members have & I'm sure someone will be along shortly to give you some advice. My gut feelimg from the description is that there is a component failure.

    Chris.
