    Beolab 8000

I was in a B&O showroom on Saturday just having a little look around. I was speaking to the salesperson about my Beolab 8000s and she mentioned there are wall brackets for these!

Has anyone seen what they look like? Anyone have a picture?

    I'm very curious......

    Hi guys,

Do you really think it's naff?  I think perhaps it's how it's not contrasting with the back wall is the issue (the concrete background).

I think it's a handsome way to display the speaker on the wall.

I think the 8000s are such an iconic design and make a statement standing in a room on their own. The wall brackets take that away a little IMO. I don't think the wall mounting is horrible, I just don't think it does them justice...

The way the aluminium rises out of the black base sort of makes them look a little more 'magnificent'

Ah... ok. Fair enough.  They do look magnificent on those bases :-)

I agree the wall mount takes away from the BL8000 design.  The BL6000 looks really good on the wall mount but the BL8000 belongs on the floor!

I think the 6000's look great on the wall, it looks VERY high up though!!

I think the surface on the wall brackets are ugly, why not go for the same surface as the pipe - Chrome.. Not B&O standard..

Yep, I agree madslp. They don't really match with the different surfaces

The 6000s do look better on the wall, the 8000s look incomplete IMO
