I would like to connect both an Apple TV and a new Tivo Premiere to my Beovision 5.   Currently, I have the Apple TV connected via component/STB input, and my older Tivo connected to the V. Aux with S-video.

As the new Tivo Premiere has no S-video, I was thinking of using a component-to-VGA adaptor and using the PC input on the Beovision 5.   Will this give me higher resolution than the S-video (assume so), and can I use the audio inputs and IR controls from one of the other sources...thereby using both the component and VGA inputs on the Beovision5 at the same time?
