    Re: Beosystem 2

A diificult ask - I don't think that many were sold in the US compared to Europe and the rest of the world. You're looking for a 110v version too - and the Euro version isn't going to do the trick as it's a 220v.

Have you thought about breaking the bank and going for a BeoSystem 3 ?!1

Just realised my mistake - its actually a Beosystem 1 I need - sorry 9 Lee I should have checked my post before submitting. Beosystem 2 is asking alot alright.

Any idea what one could pick a beosystem 1 up for? I've a BV450 (need to fix the thing), but will need a Beosystem 1 for it. See them going from $200 up to $1000. Guess it will depend, but what would one in perfect condition go for?

Also, what speakers would you recommend for this?

Thanks for the reply by the way!

You can use any active (amplified) B&O speakers with the BS1.  I think a reasonable price would be in the 500-600 dollar range with the remote eye included.  I have purchased two in that price range.  These units are damaged very easily in shipping, and I have had to file a claim for the first one that I used.
