Another problem with BV 10 screen.
After 3 months where I was largely satisfied with the TV, a pattern showed op on the screen.
B&O told me they would solve the problem by disconnecting the contrast screen to polish the inside of it. I told them that you don’t repair a 50k TV with a cloth, so after a great effort by Steen from B & O Elsinore, they agreed in giving me a new TV. They claim it is dust on the inside of the contrast screen, but I don’t think that is the problem. There is no anti reflex impact in the areas affected, so I think that the coating has been damaged. It will be changed after Easter, so we will see how long it keeps.

Good that they exchange it ! At this price level we cannot accept any defect !!!
Thsi BV10 seems not that reliable compared to other B&O product.

Maybe they should have waited a few months to launch the product so it had more time in the test center.

Dust?!
If so you need a new vacuum and a new set of lungs.
Is this a more serious hit of the "clouding" symptom?

It's visible when the TV is off so it can't be clouding. I think it's a defect in the coating.

Re: Another problem with BV 10 screen.
With all of these problems on the BeoVision 10, I'm thinking that purchasing one at this time is not a good idea. I would like to see the BeoVision 7-40 share the same direct, local dimming LED backlighting as that of the BeoVision 7-55. It's ridiculous that B&O is still trying to sell an LCD television for over $9000 that has a TFT backlit display. What are they thinking, and what's taking so long to make the changeover? They need to get some Apple-minded engineers in Struer!

@ Hungedu:
If I were You, i wouldn't buy it. I've tried to get the dealer to take it back but he wouldn't. Insted i would look at the new Sony or the upcomming Samsung. Or simply keep the Avant.

I love mine. Had it 4 months now, and haven't regret it for a single day.
My old Avant is very happy as a standalone TV in the basement.

Re: Another problem with BV 10 screen.
I love my BV10 a lot too. Picture is good, design very likeble. Looking at purchases done by friends (non B&O) every product has it flawes from time to time.
I have to say that my BV10 has clouding issues, however the dealer is about to replace the TV (likely with the new 46"). So in the end it is not such an issue.
