I have a set of B&O cables (2 x External Line 8 PIN + Cable US sound adaptor), which allows me to connect my computer to a pair of BeoLab 3 speakers. Any chance to get a BeoLab 2 connected into this setup ?

You are in luck! B&O have just brought out a converter for this - you do need a DC power source as well. The Beolab 3s connect to the BL2 and the computer connects to the BL2. 

And you might want to look into installing a tool like perian.org on your machine to add support to some more file-, audio-, and video-formats :-)

Rather than finding out through a post reply in a thread, surely this - and similar news - should be on both the Beoworld homepage, as a news story, and a more detailed article for members?

Released about 9/3/2010. It is an 8 pin connector to the Beolab 2 with female RCA plugs for audio input and a 3.5mm mini-jack for 5-12V DC. Part number 6271030

Not sure I can write an article about this though!
