    Motorised stands settings

I have a beovision avant 32 inche tv, and can not get the stand to set correctly. What Im trying to do is have the TV set to be directly face on when turning the tv on and off.  The positions I have set at at the moment are as below, and when i turn the tv off it goes to the far left. Now I have changed the positions around and yet no matter what position I set the TV it always switches off to the far left position. Does anyone have any ideas how to solve this?

    Set at the moment

    0    set to facing direct

    1    set to far left

    2    set to far right

Those values seem confusing to me... but I have US (8490) models, where...

    1 FAR LEFT

    5 CENTER

    9 FAR RIGHT

I would ensure the Avant is centered physically... in my case (5) so that you then know where "CENTER" is...

Then, position the set appropriately for your room.

In the (8490) the STDBY and ON positions are programmed in the menu.

Standby is the position you set 0 as, mr "applemac1"

Seems you are confused like me Dave.Confused

Put the Avant where you want it to park up at night, and store it as  '0'
Put the Avant where you want it to be when switched on, and store it as  '1'

    Simples!

Ah maybe this will help, what I want is a stanby park position set the same as the switched on position, then I wanted to use the other two positions one for far left and the other for far right, However from what I understand from your message is, if 0 is set to park then the tv will always when switched on go to position 1.

    Re: Motorised stands settings

Correct!  So store that position as '0' and as '1'.
Problem is, that there is only one more saved position available.
