I'm sure this has been asked before, but I cannot find it in this forum; I'm sorry for that...

I'm looking for the beo5 "BeoIR code" equivalent to the "V.TAPE2" beo4 command.

I have a Panasonic DVD player connected to my avantDVD in the "AV" scart using a DVD-controller for some years; with the "V.TAPE2" option in the avant connections menu; the problem is that some days ago I've lost this "V.TAPE2" activation code in the beo5 ; but my beo4 still works well.

In the V.TAPE scart there is a HDR2 connected, so "0:000:TV:VTR" starts the HDR2;

I've also tried "0:001:TV:1:VTR" and "0:001:TV:2:VTR" without success

Try DVD2, and try in VTR mode, not TV mode....

I've tried your suggestion but it doesn't work.

The name "DVD2" is the "VTR" IR command, so the beo5 IRcode finally is "0:000:VTR:VTR", and this code starts the HDR2 with the command "V.TAPE" turned on in the avant display.

I need select and see the "V.TAPE2" command in the avant display ! crazy that beo4 does it so easily...
