Strange Beocenter 2300 standby lighting behavior

In stand-by mode there appears a red and green light simultaneously. (?)

Though in the manual it says: A tiny red light appears indicating that the system is in stand-by mode, ready to be used.

After setting up the Beocenter 2300, with all cables in its place, it was connected to the mains.

The system appears to function properly though and when in use only the green light appears.

Did I miss treat something? Do I have to be afraid of a internal shortcut? Suggestions appreciated.

    Regards, Maurice

Green light indicates timer on (as far as I remember...).

    Saved my day.

Thank you both so much! Before posting my question I've obviously searched the forum for this issue and don't understand why I didn't find it? Luckily there's always a helping hand on our wonderful forum.

    Thanks Yes - thumbs up

    Maurice
