    Beosystem 2500 tape deck sound??

    hi i have just bought a beosystem 2500 (in new condition) but when i play any of my tapes they sound strange a bit warbley (like a bird's noise) i have cleaned the heads but still sounds the same?

    does anyone have any idea's i.e bad capacitor's.

    Maybe you need new belts? Sounds like wow and flutter.

    Yes, replace the belt(s).

    If Radio and CD is fine, then the caps are no problem with this drive.
