    Slingbox & Beovision 7-40

Hi - I'm thinking of connecting a Slingbox to my Beovision 7-40.  Anybody here have any success with it?  Thanks

    Hi

I've connected a slingbox to the sky box which in turn is conected to a Beovision

7-40, and then to my router.  We use a slingcatcher in our flat in France and it is just incredible - we have our sky box on our tv in France - and we can record, delete in fact everything we can do in England.  One of the best pieces of kit I've ever bought - and the back-up service is excellent too!!

Phew excellent news.  I plan to do the same with our place in France and can't wait to set it all up (I have Slingbox pro and Sling link).  I had a nasty moment today when my B&O installer told me the 7-40 can't be controlled by Slingbox.  The good news is that it has an internal Freeview tuner so you actually don't need to connect it to the TV to achieve the same result.  As you said it links Sky HD, Freeview and my Sony Blu-Ray player.  Glad you rate it - I feel better now!

Its a great product, very stable and integrates well and even works locally in the house as a PC/TV...

    Tell us how you go...
