When he isn't being a door knocker, Zak is an ever alert guard dog just waiting like a coiled spring ready to strike fear into the hearts of any would - be burglar. As can be seen in this pic'
That one's definately the 'dog's bollocks' mate...

Here's what Pavlov looks like after an encounter with a viper.

Ouch, but apparently a much more common occurance amongst dogs than people! I assume all was ok in the end..?
Would love to see an adder in the wild though not many round Manc-land!

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

Well, I think the first problem your cat has is that it thinks it's a car

Yes it is my favorite I think - not so keen on the film spin-offs IMO same with Simpsons...
Regards the names I think we discussed many other variables but Bender and Leela were top of the list!
I have decided to try to persuade my daughter to name her first hamster Nibler

And here he is when we're out hunting - last year.
A perfect example of why these are called "pointers". What a beautiful dog you have - I do hope he has recovered from his viper encounter.
Chris.
The use of metaphors should be avoided like the plague. They're like a red rag to a bull to me.

He recovered nicely. I was fortunate, it happened at the end of a long walk in the forest, when I was close to the car, and I could get him to the vet immediately, where he was given a saline solution to dilute the venom. It was quite remarkable, he reacted instantly, became woozy and lost his balance, and I had to lift him into the car. The vet speculated that the venom had entered a major vein or artery, and that was why the dog reacted so quickly.
No damage to any organs, and a healthy and vital dog today - who may have gained some respect for the scent of a viper, I hope?

Evan:
In my father's lap is the newest addition to the family, Buster. He arrived at the house only a few hours ago, as a suprise to me and my step brother. He is a four and a half month old shelty/border collie mix rescued from a local shelter. Even though Bella doesn't seem like it right now, she is very jealous of the new dog.
Dogs rule.
Great dogs, Ev. Both of them!

Thank god you were close to a vet... I reckon it would have done some serious damage otherwise...

Here you go Olly. I didn't have many pics when I first posted but since you asked I armed myself with a camera to try and get some good shots.
Thank you Freerk. This new Buster guy is very explorative!
Buster must have figured out he is going out of town for Thanksgiving!
Now he is devouring a tennis ball.
