My first post to this thread was in consideration of someone probably entering the 80's BC market for the first time...
No, the BC2200 does not have the typical beo content, but the table is rather good. Yes, it is a bit plasticy, but I think it looks damn good for what it was... a true entry level system.
It now resides in my eldest daughter's room amongst the "stuffed zoo". Her first bit of beo!
BTW... and to add further confusion... I thought the Japanese content was HITACHI...
