No, I agree that doesn't look right.
I'm sure that small belt will put too much stress on the servo
motor spindle and/or the threaded shaft.
A new belt will, no doubt, be tighter than the old one but the belt in that photo looks too tight
and maybe even a little too thick.
I couldn't help noticing that LPgear charges quite different prices
for belts that are in fact identical, like the Beogram 5005/6500 servo motor belt
and some of the older round types.
They don't mention which version of Beogram 1500 their belt will fit and that
goes for the Beogram 6000 as well.
That is one strange company, I sit back with a feeling that they don't
know what they are talking about and I'm sorry if Beoworld is actually recommending them.
Hey, they will even sell you a belt for a Beogram 1201 !
A model name that never existed. Wonder what you would receive...
Could be fun to order one.
Anyway, I can supply a suitable belt if you need, even a set with both belts.
Tested in real Beograms for years.
