My dealer is having a real problem connecting these up together - only one DVI socket etc.  Is there a perfect solution?

I'd be really grateful for any help here, otherwise the Beomedia will have to go back!  What I need is a cable by cable connection process.  At the moment the sky+ HD is connected by to the tv by a HDMI to DVI cable, but my dealer cannot find a way of connecting the tv to the Beomedia

Help!  Can I assume it's just impossible (oh no!) or that noone knws (extremely unlikely)

I should have mentioned that for the sky HD connection the HDMI to DVI lead carries the picture and then there is scrt to scart for the sound

Hi Thorne, for the picture you need something like this which takes the input from both sources:

The problem will be having both switched on at the same time as both will try and send a signal to the DVI socket I do not own one of these boxes so cannot confirm 100% it will work. 

It is worth checking with your dealer through just to make sure this would work.

Thanks Callen but don't forget my tv does not possess even on HDMI socket, only a single DVI socket, nor does the Beomedi possess a HDMI socket

Does the beomedia have a dvi output? OR is it purely scart? If there is a dvi output you can simply use an hdmi - DVI cable (you will need two of these.
