Did it work with vista - if it did I would think Win7 would be OK. Win 7  also has an XP compatibility mode.

I've installed Beoplayer on my laptop with W7.

I had some difficulties to locate the Beomedia. It didn't connect.

But after renaming your networklocation  from "Home" (that's the type of network W7 asks you) to "Company".

Make sure that your workgroup names on both the Beomedia and your computer are the same.

Only then after installing the beoplayer(or beoport) software, it will find the Beomedia.

    Hello,

I do understand that Beomedia should work on windows 7

The following is taken from www.bangolufsen.com FAQ for  Beomedia1. Note even if it's below is referring to Beoport and Beoplayer, those are the softwares used by Beomedia. Latest version is 5.04.00, possible to be downloaded at the very same site.

    Hope it helps

Don't know anything about Beomedia but I'm particularly impressed with Win 7 - if your machine is running XP or Vista, and is capable of running Win7 I would definitely upgrade.

I've upgraded my laptop several month's ago and I totally agree Yes - thumbs up

Windows 7 for instance is faster then Vista, a big relief. From XP to W7 takes some time to get used, but no regrets so far.
