I just purchased a set of BeoLab 8000's on ebay, they should be arriving this week.  I want to inspect them thoroughly before providing feedback/paying.  Instead of trying to figure it out I thought I would ask, how do you remove the grill fabric?  Thanks for your help.

The frets are tightly clipped to the side of the steel.

Carefully release the bottom clips and then when you have done this on both sides you can slide the fret upwards and off.You need ceiling clearence to do this.
