    How to remove scratches on Beocenter 9300 lid

    The lid of the tape deck on my BC 9300 has got a few scratches. Not very much, but it would be nice if there was a way to remove them. What material are the lids made of? Do you think it is possible to make them go away by polishing? You can feel the scratches when you run a finger nail across them. Or should I try to find a donor lid?

    Not possible I'm afraid. The lids are anodised aluminium & any attempt to remove the scratches will make the appearance 100 times worse & make you wish you had never started. The only solution is to order a new one from B&O or learn to live with it.

    I've been told that you have to order a full set of lids (3 pieces) Is it so or can you get the lids seperately?

    all 3 only from bno as may be slight difference in appearanc-e - last i heasrd was about £90 uk for the three
