    @all the Bruce Springsteen fans out there: even today - after more than 25 years I started to enjoy his music/story telling - I am happy to see there are more people out there with good music taste. The Boss just seemed to know me without ever meeting me...

    Being a little nostalgic (Not being a native speaker I hope this is understood)

    PS: Unfortunately I did not have the chance to visit his last concert at Düsseldorf, maybe next time... ;-)

    Re: Flash your B&O!

    This afternoon I discovered a large obsession of mine with a/v gear are the dot matrix displays... So cool! Anyway, here is what I've been doing for last couple minutes...

    First it started with manipulating a couple iPhone pictures

    Then my obsession got much, much worse.

    Clearly, the BeoLab 5000s take the cake.

    That brings the system to the early '80s when I used to design Sinclair graphics on graph paper! Big Smile (and no problems with the Spectrum graphics that allowed 2 colours per each 8x8 block...)

    Thanks Soren and Mika!

    Ok, so I have put together complete 12-character blank dot matrixes and uploaded them to the media section. Yes, both amber and green are included (I haven't forgotten the 4500)! I did this so maybe some of you could join in on the fun and make your own Smile

    Hello everyone,

    Im new here, I looked at everyones nice installations. Wanted to show mine aswell.

    BeoCenter 2, BeoLab 3, all cables are in the walls, as it shall be. MacMini that we are using as a mediacenter. Our cds are going in to the Imac. In the kitchen and bedroom we will have 3500 link speakers. Im thinking of getting teh BeoPort (?) to connect the BeoCenter to my MacMini. If I can use the BeO remote to control Itusen or what program I will use for music. Now we control the music with Mac and tvscreen or Iphone och Ipad. I would be nice to just have one remote - the BeO remote :)

    Wall-hung Beovox RL6000's and a pair of recapped S75's used with Beocenter 9300, Beocord 8004 and Beogram 8002. I'll use the Beogram 4002 and S75's with my recapped Beomaster 4400 when I manage to get it back!

    Still using the main system a lot, added a Beocord 5000 and a Denon DRM-740 tree head deck

    Re: Flash your B&O!

    Soren:  very nice.  No such thing as "too many stereo components."  (I still need to convince my wife of this.)

    May I suggest one thing?  Your LP to turntable ratio needs to increase.  Looks like it's about 5 or 10 to 1.  You need to get that above 50:1!

    Current primary listening:  SMMC20EN -> BG4002 -> BM4000 -> Beovox M70

    Thanks Rich, I have a rosewood Beomaster 6000, Rosewood Beomaster 3400, White Beocenter 7007, Beocord 6500 and a Beocord 9000 in storage!

    At the moment, I am at about 650 LP's, having a closet devoted to them altough there is not enough space for ca. 60 LP's which are in the bedroom instead Smile

    The ratio should be just about 162 LP's to one turntable!

    Should try to take a photo of my Father's system, which is a little more compact setting thanmine Stick out tongue

    Edit: Father's system (yes, two working Beogram 4000 turntables under one roof Whistle) there is a total of 8 working Beograms in the house. 3 Beogram 8002's, 3 Beogram 4002/4004 and 2 Beogram 4000 Geeked

    And my other record storage, almost all in alphabetical order

    Beocenter 9300, Beogam CD50, Beocord 5500, Beomaster 3400, Beomaster 4400, 2 Beogram 4000, Beomaster 8000, 2 beogram 8002, Beovox S-75, Beovox MS150.2, Beovox RL6000, Beovox S-35, Beomaster 6000, 2 Beocord 9000, Beocord 8004, Beocord 5000, Form 1, 2x Beolink 1000, Beo4, MX3500, LS4500.     Re: Flash your B&O!

    Ah, the LPs are hidden - I should have guessed.  I keep most of my media in closets as well.  Your ratio is just fine!

    In the film "It Might Get Loud," Jimmy Page's listening room is filled wall to wall and floor to ceiling with vinyl.  When I have that many LPs, maybe I'll display them like Page does!

    Current primary listening:  SMMC20EN -> BG4002 -> BM4000 -> Beovox M70
