Yes - beautiful. I love this design. I remember when I was a teenager and the Beomaster 1500 (on which the BC2600 is based) came on the market. I would really like to have one of these, instead of my BM 901 (which is also very nice). But I ended up buying a Beomaster 2400 instead Cool - and sold the 901 Sad

Oh, those were the days...Several new B&O audio products every year...

Since then I had finally bought a BM 1500 -and a 1400 (the black version) -and a 901 again - among many of the other classic receivers...
    Once you get the Beovirus...Smile

    Hey Hebo,

Nice to see you too!! Yep some of the notes are personal, the rest is the original batch provided with the lamp I assume you know (Zettel by Ingo Maurer). Here is a closer look-up:

    Cheers,

    Bonjour Phillippe.

I had the pleasure of flying into your beautiful city on Sunday morning, having flown over it a thousand times.

When we left Newcastle it was miserable dreary weather, with a despatcher with a pot belly and big moustache.

When we landed in Toulouse it was a bright sunny morning, and we were welcomed by a stunning young lady in a Chanel dress, who dropped her hip and just smiled...Vive la FranceYes - thumbs up

A Beovision 10-40 in black and red fret on order, Beo4, Beo6, many A8's, a pair of white and yellow Form 2's, Beocom 4, 28 inch Avant RF DVD, Apple TV and a wife that loves this stuff as much as i do!

It's always delightful to read this kind of experience Chris!! And even more to live it!! :-)

Indeed, we have the chance in this south western part of France to enjoy a very nice weather throughout the year (the summer should last through September and maybe october too, if we are lucky). As you may have noticed, you can feel the energy and the good spirit because people do choose to come live here. In french we call this "le bon vivre", where it's good to live. No real stress, cafes and bistros with the terrasses full of people.

When asked about where we could possibly live anywhere else in France, we couldn't really pinpoint any other city, cause Toulouse is the place to be if you want the perfect balance between your professional career, your personal life, things to do or to be seen (Spain is not far, the airport can get you practically everywhere) so all in all, I must say we are blessed. And Paris is just one hour away by flight, so very convenient to enjoy la ville lumière too (living in Paris could be an option, but you should really earn well your life and have a lot of free time to enjoy what the city offers).

See you around again soon I hope! :-)

Still can't decide how to arrange my stuff, currently the living room is like this. Sharp eyed folks will notice how the kit spans three decades.

I love the reflections the BL8000s make on the floor.

Agree! I just love the MX when it's on the floor like that! And, well... everything else as well!

Thanks everybody! I also think that these small MXs look the best on the floor. I first had it on the black shelf along with the BS6500 in front of the window, but noticed that I don't really have any natural light to waste, so moved the shelf out and dropped the TV down.

I'm really fond of the MX2000(!) but not the extra remote it requires, so I'll eventually replace it with either the MX6000 or LX6000 I have in storage... and then everything will move around again, but I'll gain AV link as well.

And all the years I've had the BS6500, I have wanted to stack it 2 by 2 Big Smile Never had the space before...

Very nice, Mika.  The only thing missing is an alcoholic beverage.  For some reason I'm thinking vodka martini, shaken, not stirred.

    Current primary listening:  SMMC20EN -> BG4002 -> BM4000 -> Beovox M70

Or why not a Château Léoville Las Cases (my prefered Bordeaux wine)?
White line B&O is always so beautiful and timeless.
    Splendid, Mika!
