Now I still wonder how you switch between turntables? A switch with dinconnectors or something?

I use this 3-way switch on the tape 2 input, the Beogram 8002 is used with an external RIAA Wink

I have a decent 4-way switch for the Tape1 as well. ;) Although almost everything is digital and is being switched by the DAC automaticly so I barely have to touch the switch.... :)

One downside when using external gear is that the remote can't be used anymore to start the tapedeck or turntable. :( I think that's one of the coolest things about the beogram 8000. Lying on the couch.. just hit the PH and it all automaticly switches to it. :)

Beogram 4000, 4002, 8000, 8002. Sorry, got rid of all the rest.

There's a good story behind that bag!

My wife is French, and sometimes gets very homesick being so far away here in Australia. One of my customers travelled to France late last year. I asked my customer if she could bring me some maccarons from Laduree. She bought me a small box so that I could give them to my wife for her birthday!! My wife loved her small taste from home Big Smile

Datalink is a good invention, I could remote control the arm movements of the 8002 with my Beomaster 5500, Thinking about routing the Datalink signals of my Beocord 9000 and Beogram 8002 to the 5500, so I can control the lot with the Beolink 1000 and MCP 5500 Smile

    Luke,

That realy looks fabulous! I like the dark floor with the rest of the items. espacialy in the bathroom. As the audio set-up concairs, I would give the front speakers a little more space to breathe. I know the speakers adjust themselves, but you have the space and the sound (espacialy for stereo) can become even beter. A half meter from the back wall can be enough to make music more life like I recon. (just my humble experience).

Very very nice coming home in such a living every day. :)

Beogram 4000, 4002, 8000, 8002. Sorry, got rid of all the rest.

I originally wanted the speakers to sit further forward and even have the holes in the floor further toward the lounge but B&O put the speakers there... I'm not even sure  I can move them now as the speaker cable has exactly the right length.... such a pity (i'll have a look though)

The sound is pretty good anyway.... and even though our neighbours are tolerant I don't think we need anymore bass LOL

I stole the wood floor running up the wall idea from the b&o showroom. I love the contrast.
