    Re: Flash your B&O!

    Some very nice setups here!

Here is the latest addition to my collection: the Beolink 7000 floor stand!
I have had a BL7000 for some months now, I bought it from the Beoworld sales -section. Ever since I have wished to have the floor-stand.

Two weeks ago I noticed one on eBay.de but as the seller wouldn't send abroad I didn't bother even asking. Eventually I posted a link to the auction at the eBay section here in Beoworld. Out of blue, Beoworld member Leslie posted that he has two and could sell one. After some mails we agreed on a deal (the price was a bit less than for the one in eBay) and so the stand was send to me from the Netherlands. I received the packet today, and here the stand was, perfectly clean and well. It's even more sturdy than it looks and very heavy. It requires an external transformer (that plugs into the bottom) for the charging and at the moment I don't have one but will be getting one shortly!

     "A remote-controller accessory" arriving Geeked

    And here it is!

     Detail of the bottom-part

And here it is with the BL itself.

The height can be adjusted from about 80cm to 115cm.

While the BL7000 itself is probably the most futuristic remote control ever, with the stand it's even more incredible! Cool This is a great accessory and other than looking fantastic, in my case it also frees a bit of the desk space (which is never too big, anyway). Simply great! Thanks again, Leslie!

...and a beautiful Jacob Jensen-designed Gaggenau 200-series oven!

I really miss the 200- and the 900-series, the current Gaggenau line-up is not as beautiful as the older series.

What a nice home you have, well done!

Quick iPhone shot of my latest addition, a Beocord 1200 reel-to-reel in hard to find white. Am planning to use this with my white Beomaster 2000 (ironing board series) and white CX50s. It works fine, apart from needing a couple of bulbs and a belt for the counter. Was a total eBay bargain of about £40, which goes to show that if you take a punt on some of the items there, you can occasionally get a winner. The cover is hardly marked, and it comes with both B&O embossed bungs for the tape reels too!

Now all I need is some nicer reels (although the original B&O one that came with it is cool), and more tapes to listen to. Thanks to Andy I have one, but I think I need a few more now :)

Finally moved into my new flat.

Apart from the rubber cabletubes almost no wires visible. The box behind the Ouverture holds 9x power, 2x ethernet, 2x ML, 2x coax, 3x PL) Next purchase: Modular Spock led lights. Lowcost bulblights now are just temporary. And afterwards a BS3500 for the bedroom and BL2000 for the bathroom.

    Hi Karel

Looks great! How do you like your BeoLab 11? I've bought one but am yet to install it - haven't got the wall bracket yet. Is the off-centre placement an issue? That's how mine wil be as well.

    Cheers

    Stuart,

The off-centre placement is absolutely no problem... You can't pinpoint the direction of low frequencies. I'm very happy with the BL11. It really gives the BL8000s more breath! A BL2 would have been overkill in my situation...
