Phone - looks like a British Telecom Trimphone from the mid '70's - used to have one way back then, wish I still had it!

Good grief!
OUTSTANDING - Looks like a proper B&o catalog!
P.S. You need a BL11 to match the cactus pot on the floor and the accessories on the table in the first pic!

Hi Wasti
Tony is quite correct - it's a BT Trimphone from the late 1970s. This is the later version with the push buttons, but earlier versions came with a dialer. It has a unique and distinctive ring tone that Beoworlders of a certain vintage will well recall!!!

Classic telephones - wish I'd kept mine. We had a starling which used to perch on the house roof which did perfect trimphone impressions (the starling not the roof). On BBQ days it would sit there warbling away & we'd rush indoors to answer the bl***y thing .
Chris.
The use of metaphors should be avoided like the plague. They're like a red rag to a bull to me.

That's it Chris - it really does warble! Lovely old phone. I have an old BT 700 series two-tone in Green in the collection too :)

Thanks for the compliments!!
And i'm really thinking of adding a BL11 in the future, it would fit in nicely.

Looks amazing, well done. The Dutch are always good with interior design.

Michael: connected to my ipad.
welcome back !
I played with the iPad for the first time today ... are you enjoying yours ?
First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*
