    Re: Flash your B&O!

Such a wide range of different setups to look at, each unique in its own way – well done everyone.

I have been very fortunate and now have B&O everywhere - I just love it.  From my introduction to the brand in 1966, I have had hours of endless pleasure and the enjoyment continues unabated.  The photos below capture some of my collection but since the photo size appears to be limited to 100k, the resolution doesn’t really do the items justice.

First is the lounge where I can configure all sorts of 80’s units to keep the Pentas pumping.

Second is the small TV room which has a very nice cosy atmosphere when the surround sound is doing its stuff.

Finally is my workroom where I store all of the broken items that I have been able to bring back from the dead.  I am now fast running out of space as you can see.

Another view of the business side of the workroom – just drowning in B&O.  Oh happy days.

    Regards Geoff

Wow, Geoff you've certainly got a nice collection growing there! Do you get most of these in Ebay in Australia or is there somewhere else ? I often check ebay but there never seems to be much on there.... it would be a closer option for me thats why i ask....

The Beo4 is compatable with the Lutron Grafik Eye, which can be seen between the ladder rungs to the left of the image. The bespoke Saxum ladder is a second attempt to create a lighter ladder and the rungs were replaced and color matched with the blue anodised BeoCenter 6-23 and BeoCom2.

Thanks Laurence ....  I have bought a number of units from Ebay Australia but you do have to wait patiently for something to come up that you really want.  Apart from the new units which have been purchased from the local agents, the rest of my collection has mainly come from the generosity of local B&O people here in Australia.  They really have surprised me with what they have been prepared to part with at zero cost.  Still, if you bear in mind that spares are almost impossible to get and skilled time costs a fortune, many do look at the local dump as their sole option and are only too happy to find someone who will make better use of their old treasure.  I have also picked up some of my more obscure items on my frequent visits to South Africa - that seems to be a good source for old B&O equipment.  Lots of contacts and plenty of searching around continues to be the best solution.

    Keep in touch

    Regards

    Geoff

    Re: Flash your B&O!

I love seeing how others have decorated their homes, especially when there's B&O involved Big Smile

My living room looks like this:

It is a bit crowded and I would love a bigger apartment, so my dining room table can be in another room, and my home cinema setup can get it's own room.

    My "office":

And finally my kitchen, (where I still haven't bothered painting the cablepanel Embarrassed)

    Thanks Geoff,

Always interested as to how some astute collectors put together their collections...  I guess when looking for things, I just need to be a little patient and try to find them closer to home if possible...

    Thanks for your input...

    Laurence.

Here is a little more color.

I think we need more "color-setups", after a quick look on all the pictures
