Best way is to pull it completely apart, and every thing that is non electronic goes into a bowl of warm water with a dash of Fairy Liquid.
Scrub  with an old toothbrush. don't reassemble til all parts are completely dry.
Here are some Beo4s drying, treated the same way.

And now they are prepared to go in to dish washer Laughing

when your Black Label begin to taste like juice just take shot or two of Absinthe and after that quench with some vodka, if you still feel juice like take beer with grappa !

Before anyone actually tries, DON'T put aluminum parts in the dish washer! They will come out awfully darkened (ask my old Bialetti moka pot how I know). B&O parts are usually anodized which might protect them, but better not even risk it...

An ultrasonic bath is optimal (and you can put the actual electronics in there as well if you use common sense selecting the liquid and rinse & dry well), but Method Jandyt will be just as good - just a little more handwork.

If salt is used in the dish washer, then the alumenum parts will be destroyed.

Some hot water, some hair shampoo and a small brush are good enough. Also boards can be cleaned with wather and shampoo. Just dry them carefully...

This thread made me confident to clean up my BEO4. I did it the Andy way, and everything went perfect. Even after reassembling the BEO4 still works fine and no parts are missing..Big Smile Big Smile Big Smile

    Thanks Andy!!!
