How many could cost (in €) an Avant 32" DVD, 3 years and half old?

    Morgan,

I suggest you look HERE to get an idea.

Assuming your AVANT is in full working order, I expect that a lot of people would be interested.

    Regards Keith....

    I still adore mine Wink

I have a 32 RF DVD from late 2005. The picture is still the best compared to what I've seen on many screens.

I recently build my HDR in the bottom of my Avant. So it will stay for several years.

I do agree, the AVANT picture still takes a lot of beating.

The price on Lifestyle AV is including warranty. If you want to buy a 32" RF from ebay or something else it should cost around 1500/1750,- euros but thats without the 3-6 months warranty.

1500/1750 € I think is the price for older models than 5 years. ¿what about a 3 years old and two years warranty and mint condition?

thats true... I think a 3 year old model in mind condition is worth about 2100/2250 euro and a silver version maybe a bit more (2400/2500). I know some dealers ask over 3000,- for it and it was worth it around the time lcd/plasma didn't excist but in these days you can get a 60" top of the line full hd plasma with hdmi ports for the same money. Ok, the RF has got a perfect picture but it's just to consider about a fair price for the RF.

Don't know where you live but Beoinfo.nl has got an 2 year old silver RF from 2005 for about 2900,- euro's and I think you can buy this one for 2650,-

That price looks like ok. I´m from Spain and the price I´m going to pay is 2390€ with 2 years full garranty. The Avant is really in mint condition. I think it´s very good price, I´m just checking more opinions.

About the price of the second hand Avant.

Ok, it is a lot of money for a CRT tellie. But don't forget: You'll get the centre of system also. It is not only the screen.

I think some people do forget this when comparing it with a screen of 42/50/60" with HDMI etc. Those screens sounds louisy, the picture isn't the same and it doesn't have some sort of ML in it.

This is very important, you aren´t buying just a TV, you are buying much more.

As I can see I´m not the only "crazy" arround here Laughing

    Totaly agree with you, Beobuddy.

I bought mine, a black demo version, off ebay a year ago from a B&O vendor. It came with 6 months warranty and delivery for around 2100 €.  I was very lucky, and I believe your offer is a reasonable one.  I am very happy with the Avatn and would not have traded it for a flat screen TV.  2years warranty is better, I believe the quote you have is a good offer.

I think so, and I´m very happy with the purchase. I got an agreement yesterday.

They are going to deliver it to my house today.

    Congrats!

This one will be a winner and probably not leaving the building for a long time Yes

The advantage of this type Avant DVD is that you still have 3!! empty scart connectors left.

So the next episode will probably a HDR, DVB-S/C/T

Which colour do you have? How's the cloth over the speakers?

Does it have a DD/DTS and STB onboard?
