    RL 60.2 Speaker Stands

    Hi all

Does anyone know when i can get the floor standers for these ? i currently have them vertically on the floor, but supported just with the springy thing on the rear, which points them towards the ceiling !!!! i am after the stands that screw into the back plate (4 screws) which will enable them to be floor mounted and pointed towards the listener, not the light bulbs!!!!

any hekp greatly appreciated, ps - i have already looked on ebay - nothing there - next step is to get some custom made if i cant find any !! glen

Ebay is stll your best bet, they do crop up on there fairly regularly but are like buses - none for weeks and then several come along at once. They don't screw onto the speakers, there is a mounting plate on the stands which simply hooks into the hole at the rear of speakers where the spring terminals are located and gravity does the rest.

I prefer the chrome pole version that was supplied with the later models - watch out for those too although they come up less often as they are rarer due to less sold I imagine.

    HI

have had some success taking the on built supports and simply reversing them so the wire loop hang down from the centre mount this then has the effect of reducing the star searching effect - works in both plains of the the cabinet, i've used this system on carpeted floor for some time until i acquired some stands

    worked for me!!

    cheers
