    BeoLab 2000/3500 and Beosystem 4500

    sorry to ask a newbie-question:)

I am planning to use a beolab 2000 or 3500 link room speaker with my beosystem 4500 (that has no masterlink) so I will need a converter.

what type of converter is needed and second question will there be any problems when using such an old system with a newer speaker?

I think I have a 1610 somewhere in the house that I bought for my AV9000 system long time ago. will that thing do the job or do I have to buy the 1611 converter?

The 1610 is 9000 specific. Sad

Give it a try! SW only differs a little, I used a 1610 with beovision Avant + Beosystem 9xxx before. So it might work.

I believe BL 3500 until 2006 had both MCL and ML. Then they gave up MCL to the benifit for a connection to BeoLink wireless (which surprisingly need a wire).
