BEO 6000 active speakers with non B & O kit

I wish to use my BEO 6000 speakers with a standard pre amp.  Whilst the connection is not a problem beolink to RCA, where do I get the trigger to bring the speakers out of standby?

I think they can be fed from your amplifier via B&O attenuators, so your BL6000's are then activated by the audio input...

Maybe check the "workbench" part of the forum.

    Hope this helps

They can be operated straight from a line level output (with controlled volume). Just connect your signal to the RCA input and turn the input switch to "LINE". The speakers will turn on automatically when they receive a signal, and turn off automatically after it has been gone for a few minutes.

Many thanks from both contributors, for solving the problem.
