It's only a beta version, but it appears to work... When you get a Personal Message, you should now be able to tell by a little number in brackets by the word "Inbox" at the top of your screen. The number obviously corresponds with the number of messages waiting for you! Thanks to Van for finding and implementing this! Lee

Much better! Thanks Van Chris.

Re: New Feature on BeoWorld!
I'd forgotten all about PMs. Looks like I've had one there since April that I haven't even looked at. Oops!

Re: New Feature on BeoWorld!
I have noted this new feature and I have (7) in the brackets, however I have read all the e-mail's in my inbox, but not deleted them. Does the number in brackets really mean un-opened e-mail's or e-mail's sent to you and still in your Inbox ?

Re: New Feature on BeoWorld!
I have 3 in brackets but no unread PMs. Very annoying as I'm on pocket Pc at the moment due to my laptop charger burning out and I've just spent 10mins opening and closing the email button to find the new email, before I gave up and found this thread.

Re: New Feature on BeoWorld!
So, it says Inbox(3) but you have no new PM's at all?
Anyone else with the same issues?

Re: New Feature on BeoWorld!
Obviously it works in a completely different way to other forums, but I'd suggest people try logging out and back in again if they are having issues. May solve the problems, may not, but it worked on a forum I was working on where an unread posts counter wasn't working properly...

Re: New Feature on BeoWorld!
I had (1) then read it and it went. It probably will only start counting from when Van started the function. Read them all then the brackets will go,.......probably. Andy T.

For those with numbers and no unread emails, check there are not some on further pages! They may be very old ones!

Re: New Feature on BeoWorld!
Hi all If the PM has been read then it should not appear in the bracket anymore. Could I suggest those that are experiencing problems please log out and then back in again. If you could then kindly let me know if you are still experiencing problems. V

Re: New Feature on BeoWorld!
Van, I had seven (7) in the brackets, so I did as you suggested and logged out and then logged in again and I still had seven. So, I went down my list of e-mail and read (opened) everyone of them again, the number in the brackets went down to one (1) So, I opened them all again and I still have one in the brackets.

Re: New Feature on BeoWorld!
How many pages of PM's do you have? If it's just the one, and all have been read - it's a glitch - but you may have another page of PM's lurking.. I made the same error myself! Lee

Re: New Feature on BeoWorld!
I have 19 in my list on one page. However, I logged out and back in again, then open each of the 19 again and when I got to message 15 it went back to no brackets I cannot explain this situation

Re: New Feature on BeoWorld!
I have re-read all 5(arent I popular) emails and I now don't have any new emails shown, but I had already read these mails. I will delete all my previous PMs so the problem may have been a slight glitch. BTW the quick reply option doesn't work on Pocket PC (not a problem for me, just thought I'd point it out). Will hopefully get back on laptop tonight after I've been to PC World to get a charger and get ripped off.
