    Datalink on Beogram TX

    I have a Mk1 version of the TX Turntable, it was originally bought in the US and works fine through a voltage converter - the output connectors are two phono plugs - does anyone know if the datalink module is inside the unit and could be connected if I changed the lead to a 7 pin din or if it was actually not included as it's a cheaper BG6000?

    This was a re-badged Beogram 6002 but without the one way Datalink module.

    It was fitted with the excellent MMC3 cartridge and could be used with other makes of amplifier. It was replaced by the much less substantial TX2.

    Pretty sure that is correct. You have to clean the record anyway! Smile The datalink in the 6002 was only one way which was an oddity. These two decks are very similar in many ways to the 4002 and are very under rated.

    Yes the info' on site is correct. I owned one for a while and it didn't support datalink. The RCA/phono plugs were factory fitted, probably to appeal to non-beosystem owners.
