    BeoVision 10-46/48 confirmed

Apparently the rumors of a BeoVision 10 bigger than 40-inch are more than just rumor. Is there perhaps anybody that can indicate a price range and a release date? I read sometime May/June, can anybody confirm? Much appreciated

What is the source that it´s confirmed? Is it 46 or 48'? I wonder if it still will have it same beautiful proportions in a bigger format?

I must say that the 40 is simply stunning, but it´s a little bit to small for me, so a confirmation on a bigger model would be great

    Hi BeoFan,

That's my point as well. I like the total design of the 40" but its too small. A dealer in NL said that there will be a bigger BV 10.

It is not a rumour. B&O officially said from the start that there will be a larger one later, but no smaller one.

If you look at the edge led Samsung panels, you´ll probably find the correct sizes of the forthcoming BV10s.

    BV10, Avant DVD, BL5, BL4000, BS2300, BV6-26, MX 4002, 2xBeocom 6000, LC2

    It will be 46"

I'm not sure where the 48" number is coming from. It's based on the Samsung edge-lit LED panels so clearly there isn't going to be a 48" version.

    Production will begin very shortly.

I clicked on this as you say the TV is 'confirmed', as if we could expect some kind of official press statement or specs. The post is actually a question....to ask if it's confirmed?

    Roger,

Will there be a larger version, such as 55 "?

    Cheers, Marc.

Not until there's an OEM panel to work off of and possibly not even then. It will depend on how well that form factor translates to larger sizes. That being said, there will likely be a "small, medium, large" pricing scheme at most sizes until the really big ones, so I'd expect something up to 55" or so in the coming year. It just might look different from the BeoVision 10.

should that mean you expect a Beovision 11 coming this year for the large pricing scheme?

    Re: BeoVision 10-46/48 confirmed

    Hi Beofan,

I just had my offical B&O dealer on the phone. He was able to confirm to me that a BeoVision 46" will be introduced by the summer. He couldn't confirm that a 55" will be introduced, but he could imagine that it will be since the BeoVision 10 apparently is a success hit for the company.

ps. Roger you have been well informed Wink
