    New B&O products for 2010

Last year someone posted a list of new B&O products for 2009, is there anyone who has new informations about new products released for 2010?

As far as we know there are "missing": Smile

    - Beolab 11 (the new sub)

    - Beosound 5 lite or "A21"

    - Beovision 10-46/47

    - a wall mounting solution for Beolab 8000

    .... anything else?

Re: New B&O products for 2010

I heard rumors about a "bigger" BeoVision 10 than the current 40-inch. Do know you know anything more? Is it a fact that the BeoVision 10-46/47 will be introduced? Thanks in advance for your reply.

Per the B&O nomenclature, wouldn't "A21" indicate an item in the accessory range? If this is the case, I would suspect the "BeoSound Lite" to amount to little more than an iPod dock (likely lacking MOTS). Thoughts anyone?

I've been hoping for something much more substantial to provide link room navigation of the BeoSound 5. Perhaps something with a screen with a masterlink connection.

I think it is quite sure that they are working on a bigger Beovision 10 but is it sure that it will be exactly 48 inches?

There sure aren't many B&O rumors are there?  Go over to macrumors.com for Apple and you have a whole site (and one of many) dedicated just to rumors!  Go here, the biggest B&O site in the world, and people just don't have a clue or even a lead anywhere about what B&O is going to release!  I guess that's just a reflection about the size of the fan base...

    B&o 3D TABLET!

Now I start a new thread asking about if this is true, somebody else will ask for pictures, somebody else will draw them and post them in another thread which turns into a discussion on Beoworld's integrity, while in yet another thread people are angry because nobody tells them a price or a release date. That's the way to do it Wink

Yeah but the new 3D tablet from B&O will be wall-mountable, so it will be better than Apple's!

Re: New B&O products for 2010

I'd like to see a new interface for the BeoSound 5 that allows it to connect to a PC or Mac for direct access to its iTunes library without having to use the big, ugly, expensive BeoMaster 5.... and do so wirelessly! I'd buy that for sure!

BeoVision 7-55 3D, BeoSound 9000, BeoSound 8, BeoLab 7-6, BeoLab Penta III, BeoLab 8000, BeoLab 6000, BeoLab 2, LC-1, BeoTime (analog clock), Form 1 headphones, Beo 4 remote.

With regard to the Spring software update to the BeoSystem 5-

I hope it doesn't require a video link connection to a link tv. In the U.S. we don't have video link.

It's not likely, given the BeoSound 5 without a BeoMaster 5 is just a normal 1024x768 LCD panel with a custom USB 'mouse' built in.  It needs to connect to a PC of some sort, and I'd rather rely on something dedicated than having it rely on something else.

About a year ago, the owner of my dealer told me that there was an iPod dock in developement, he went on to say that it is supposed to include its own amplification/speakers. Perhaps another standalone system similar to the BeoSound 1 or 3?

I hope we will have a new center speaker using ALT. I am using non B&O plasma (pioner to be exact) and I am still thinking of a way mount the Beolab 7-4 so that it will look nice overall. Wink

Facelift for the BeoLab 9; they might sound great, but look terrible ...

I wouldn't mind a couple of pinguins in my living room! :-)

Anyway... really looking forward to the new subwoofer..

The race for quality has no finish line- so technically, it's more like a death march.

To me the BL 9's are the most beautiful of the ALT range. BL 5's second, BL 3's a distant, distant third. Is it the fact that it resembles a certain Antarctic avian species which causes the polarized opinions? Penguins are lovable birds - I think they look cute! (ah, perhaps that's why - guys generally don't want "cute" in their living rooms.)

But wives do ... mine finds the BL9s acceptable in appearance ... but is decidedly against BL5s as they look like Daleks from the Dr Who TV Series.

This despite the fact she lives in a household of Dr Who fans.

So one day I will upgrade from my BL3s (yes they are ugly but she loves the sound) to BL9s :-)

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*
