    Beosound3 crash ?

My Beosound 3 suddenly doesn't respond to touching on the buttons except the STBY button. It seems like there is a software crash and that the touch sensitive surface is locked.

Did anybody experience a similar problem ?

Is there a software reset for the Beosound 3 ?

    Thanks !

    E.

OK, I was able to fix the problem. I pressed the STBY button for over 30 seconds and the unconnected Beosound 3 shot down. After I reconnected the BS3 to the power supply it started again and I had to readjust time and alarm clock.

OK, good, but if it still is under warranty, I would have the top plate changed under warranty. The top-plate problems are very common.

I had the same issue with my BS3. Take it to your dealer if you don't need it, he will replace it, even it is no more under warranty. It is a known issue.

After the first fix the problem appeared again the next day. I'm afraid that the top plate has to be changed. Sad

    Re: Beosound3 crash ?

    Hi anybody !

We spent in our house 5  BeoSound 3 and in all off them  the touchpads are workingout of order, by two off them for the second or third time .

I dont know this not  so exactly (Its the favour of my wife to take them in every place in garden or at home).

But my retailer changed it for (sorry i dont know the english word for "in Germany nennen Sie  es KULANZ" ( 1 year off end of warrenty.))

Please contact your retailer and ask for " Kulanz" ????

    with kind regards

Wow, the display really seems to be a problem with the Beosound 3. I'll definitely ask my dealer for "kulanz" respectively good will. Thanks !

Seems like B&O has a really serious quality issue! I have had the touch plate replaced once (in nov 2009), but now it is not respnding to anything AGAIN! It is really a pain in the ***, especially when your dealer is located at some distance... Super Angry

Funny thing is that my dealer more or less told me when I bought it that you are going to have to change the top-plate at some point... LaughingLaughingLaughing He was right, 6 months in.
