I was going to put one LC1 for the Christmas Tree lights but it wasn't working! Embarrassed I have another LC1 which I use for my bed-side lamp.

That could be me you are talking about! I already have two pairs of Beovox' s I don't use (in addition to the five pairs I do use) and I still find myself looking on eBay for more!

Haha, when I was putting up the christmas lights (well, only a star for my livingroom window) the lead was too short and I didn't have an extension cord available. After a minute or so I relised that i could take one of my unused lc1s and use it as an extension cord, and so I did :)

This was one of the two LC1s I got some months ago. Both were dead but replacing the fuses fixed them. I have one in use (works but not by remote), this other one was waiting in shelf. Anyway now it doesn't work and the fuse is Ok but still nothing. Erm

When you spend £5000 to £15000 on a TV that in all honesty you can probably match with a mass produced TV and surround sound system for under £1500! (But you'll have to forego  the Beo4/5, the electric curtains, the motorised base and just a bit of style.........)

...When you own 6 Beogram self-repaired tangential record players, the newest models are two Beogram 8002's.

...When you have at least one Beomaster 1900/2400-type hanging on your wall.

...When you own at least 3 pairs of old Beovox speakers that you don't use.

...When you always come home with an old, dusty B&O product that "needs some care", from the local dump/recycling facility.

...When the ones from your family starts to call you wierd.

...When you catch yourself in looking on seller's ads and B&O auctions when you are supposed to make critical assignments for the upper secondary school.
