    BV10 - Wall Mount Hinge

    Well - I have done it - have ordered a BV10 and also a pair of BL9s to replace my BL8 Mk2s

I had a real debate with myself and my wife whether to keep the BL2 or not.  Ironically films sounded better without, music with - it will stay for the moment to see how we go but that will probably need another post!

While I was in the shop I forgot to look at or ask about the hinge on the wall mounted BV10.

Is this standard - anyone tried it - how solid does it feel?  Also is it a one off to set the angle and then fix it or is it intended to be used frequently?

I don't think is is really an issue for me but just interested really.

    Thanks

    Simon

PS - BL8000 now on eBay if anyone interested.

Re: BV10 - Wall Mount Hinge

Earlier wall mounts seemed to have problems but it was recently fixed and existing owners were contacted to replace their mounts. Yours I'm sure will have the updated one and will be solid. Judging from reports it's designed to be used frequently.

Be sure to post a pic when it's installed! I plan to have a similar setup (with the BV 10 on the floor stand instead of wall-mounted). Smile

Tha wall mount is very nice indeed. Rock solid and a nice little magnet to hold the TV close to the wall.

Can someone tell me what happens with wiring on the mount? Do you need to leave some slack for cabling?

I'm considering it, given how big my Avant seems to be now!!
