Hi does any one now if I can clean the base of my Beosound 4 with some "special" liquid??
The base it's opaque....not shiny any more ¡¡¡¡¡
Or I have to replace it ?????
Thanks.
B&O came up with a 'special' cleaning paste for the BeoSound 4, available through B&O service agents. 'OOOOH' i thought, 'a B&O branded and approved cleaning product.. how exciting!'
It turned up, wrapped in the official B&O green tissue paper - and when i enthusiastically unwrapped it.. this fell out. Available for half the price from your local car accessory store..

But really, Autosol is about the best product for this kind of jobs, closely followed by Autoglym Metal Polish.
If you want to test a cheap solution first, try some toothpaste applied with your fingers. It may work just fine and at least will not do any damage (the "real" compounds are more abrasive). You'll end up with sore fingertips, but that's no different from the Autoglym solution!

No - rub it with your fingers. Then remove it with water and a soft cloth and see if you made any improvement. Try on a non-visible area first if you can...
That would be white paste toothpaste, not the gel.
Yes the white toothpaste, not the soy, decaffeinated, rainforest approved kind
