    Beovision 10 screen sizes

Hi - apologies if this has been covered already but are there any plans to release the beovision 10 in larger screen sizes?  I am going to purchase a 40" for the bedroom but need a larger size for the living room to replace the pioneer 60" and mark my return to B&O.  I think B&O have done an excellent job on the BV10 - just the type of desirable product that caused me to fall in love with the brand in the first place.  Not to my mind as beautiful as the BV5 but a very good more modern interpretation.

Expect a 46/47" version in the spring. Same basic innards with a bigger screen.

Are you sure Peter? I asked my dealer this weekend and they said a 46" is only a rumour. Nothing confirmed. If it was confirmed, surely they'd know by now?

    I'm keen to get a 46" B&O TV..

    Re: Beovision 10 screen sizes

At a recent publicity event to introduce the BV10 which my wife and I visited a gentleman from B&O head office was present. I also asked if a bigger screen size would be available. He said that the BV10 was the launch of a family and that a 46in would be available some time next summer (approximately).

This is brilliant news as I am waiting for a suitable HD replavement for my BV5. I hope with the larger amount of space available it will include an RF amplifier and all the Beo Master unit facilities that the BV5 has (timer play etc)

With the smaller frame it should take up ma very similar amount of wallspace as the BV5

The larger screen is a definite. It will not have a RF amplifier built in though - no new sets do unlike the BV5/Avant etc - and I don't know about the timer as the 10-40 does not have this. The woofer enclosure is the same as well as the depth of the bigger screen should be unchanged. I had heard late May as a possible target date.

Thanks for the further info Peter. I assume that I will be able to operate the timer function on the Beosound 9000 if the new TV has no such function available.

Peter - thanks for the information - good news in my case as the larger size will be ideal.
