    Easiest to service?

Hello, a thought just came to me: What turntable are easiest to service? The Beogram 4000 or Beogram 8000(8002)?

If missing parts or mechanicla parts need to be replaced - Beogram 800x is the one, simply because it is easy to find donor products.

I also think the circuit of the Beogram 800x / technology will be preferrible for service.

Very true but the 8000 does suffer from some poor materials - the plastic spring housing is liable to explode in a cloud of plastic fragments. The 4000 is much better made. A late 4002 would probably be the easiest to service - far less wacky electronics and a simple DC motor. Also a lot easier to take apart.
