    Beolab Terminal 8000 not working.

    I recently got hold of a Beomaster 8000 and the Beolab terminal remote and the remote does not work. Are there any simple things known to go wrong with these? I know the Beomaster is fine as it responds to my BM6000 remote and have checked the Beolab terminal using the "digital camera trick" so know for sure that its the remote thats dead.

    So anyone have any ideas or a spare remote for me.....

    Cracked solder joints are quite common for things that are moved around a lot, that includes these remotes.
    Recently, I have also had a couple of cases where the LED driver transistor was bad.
