BeoCenter 9000 - Not all CDs want to play ?

Hi All, thanks for all your help on my last post - great feedback from you all.

I have been able to play nearly 20 different CD's from my collection, including some which were from a CD-R recorded about 12 years ago...however it will not play at all 2 CD's, one is CD-RW and is only a month ago since it was burnt, the other is a brand spanking new album (spandau ballet greatest hits) which refuses to play also - i can understand the system might reject different CD-R/RW but not a new CD from HMV ?

    Any ideas???

    Cheers, Glen

Most CD/R's will play, CD/RW's I wouldn't be too sure about.
"Copy Control"-ed CD's can be a problem, though.

True. CD-RW is advised against by B&O though some do play. The copy protected CDs are not red book standard and B&O do seem sensitive to non red book discs. The fault here is with the supplier - one way around is to do exactly what it is supposed to prevent and copy the CD onto another disc - it will then play fine!
