You mean the high voltage cable that goes from the flyback transformer into a rubber hat attached to the side of the tube?
The answer is very carefully - but you probably know that already if you've got that far...
Feel the hat from its sides - you should be able to squeeze it a bit and feel how the two metal spring hooks inside it move. Squeeze it, pressing slightly down and slide it to one side, then one of the hooks should come loose from the hole in the glass, and you can get the hat off.
Do not go prying under the rubber with any kind of tool or your fingers! Once the hat is off, touch the metal spring to the metal grounding strap that goes around the back of the tube. This should discharge any possible remaining voltage and the flyback will be safe to handle.
