As more and more countries switch off the analouge TV signal and start using DVB-T, does that mean that the HDR1 and HDR2 no longer can be used as they only have analouge tuners?

Or can the HDR1/HDR2 record free-to-air and payable channels (if subscribed) from the built-in DVB-HD if the HDR1/HDR2 is connected via scart to the TV? And if so, is it then SD quality?
