When I connect my Beo5 (fw1.41a) to CT3.0 the serial number (2145xxxx) and profile is recognized but the (down)loading of the profile from the BEO5 into CT doesn't work. When is save the profile it's only a very short/small XML-file (20kb). Any ideas how come and what to do to let it function properly?

When I make a local profile I can configure it completely so the CT works propely....

Hi Dave,

the profile can only be loaded from CT to Beo5, not the other way round. You need to beg your dealer to send you the configuration to be able to extend it or alternatively built the profile new from scratch.

Can I just make a new profile (with same sn.) and (down)load it in the BEO5??? It   overwrites the old profile in the BEO5 without a problem?

Yes, that's that way it works. All settings will be overwritten with the new profile. If you need more information, a good starting place is here.
