hi all, just a quick question. is it possible to tell tyhe manufacture date of my beosound 9000 from its serial number. i know that it is a MK 3 with pin code.

Yes, it's possible. It all goes on the first two digits of the Serial Number if you need a rough guide.
09 - 1994
10 - 1995
11 - 1996
12 - 1997
13 - 1998/99
14 - 2000
15 - 2001
16 - 2002
17 - 2003/04
18 - 2004/05
19 - 2006/07
20 - 2007/08
21 - 2008/9
