    Beolab 8000 Fault

Hi - one of my beolab 8000s has just developed a fault - the LED indicator light is permanently green, and no sound is coming from the speaker whether the output is from my .  I have done a search on the forum, and found a number of posts about the light permanently being red, but not green.  I tried swapping the outputs on the rear of my Avant, and also changed the cable, but no change, so I am pretty certain it is a problem with the speaker.  Is there anything else I can try, or should I just take it to my local dealer.

By the way, I am based in Cardiff, UK - can anyone recommend a good B&O technician who does callouts - I will be fun trying to carry the beolab into the centre of Cardiff!

    Thanks, Gary

Check that the R-L-LINE switch is set correctly.

Thanks Graham - I have checked the switch, but it makes no difference in any of the 3 positions.

    Regards, Gary
