I suddenly lost the dial tone and can't get it back.  I have tried turning on and off the answering machine.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

My Beotalk had a problem that was due to a loose connection at the splitter box. Solved with an elastic band! Do you have a dialing tone on the phone itself (with the Beotalk in place and without?) [..........at risk of stating the obvious but have you checked the line itself before concluding that there is a fault with the Beotalk?)
