    do we still need TVs in the future?

    sorry, this article is in german, but I am shure, you will find the same in english...

    (in this article they discribe the new laser based projector: "QD Laser developed a new green laser, using a quantum-dots laser. They intend this laser to be used for pico projectors. QD laser plans to ship samples in December 2009, and start volume production in 2010")

    Though not the same technology, I stumbled across one of the article's suggested applications of projectors just the other day!

    Nikon S1000PJ

    I am waiting for a phone that you set down... -projects the desktop on a wall and reverse projects a keyboard in front of you.
