Will B&O Plasma's disappear with larger LCD's like BV 7-55?

With B&O moving into larger sizes of LCD screens like the Beovision 7 -55, how much longer do you think the Beovision 4-50 and 65 will last?  The higher screen cost and lack of unique design concepts seems to indicate the end is near for this product in the new leaner more focused B&O.   Even with the argument of better picture quality it always seems the lower price TV's will prevail.  I wonder if in two years there will be any plasmas's left in the line.  By then they should have sold every possible remaining over spender the 103".

    In my opinion no.

Plasmas has different picture (better or worst is a matter of choice), they are simply different. While the market will require/buy both, B&O should have both on his catalogue.

I do not see the need for the giant 103'', therefore, as a projector would possibly do the same job with less money and possibly better quality. The same rule apply here... two technologies, both available.

IMHO, I do prefers LCD's and Projectors to plasmas, but it's only my personal point.

I think they may disappear because of the energy consumption. I am sure products will be judged more and more on energy efficiency and plasmas are not great in this regard.

I don't think so, but not because they're plasmas, but because they're separate from their processors. Maybe they'll be released as LCDs.

Basically the BeoSystem 3 being a separate entity is a much better option for many types of installations allowing connectivity to happen behind closed doors. As long as peripherals connect with wires, there will be a market for this form factor, plasma or not.
